Retrò Pizzeria
About This Spot
Retrò Pizzeria is a warm and inviting corner of Olbia where the casual charm of a neighborhood eatery meets the artistry of traditional Italian pizza. Nestled on Via Regina Elena, this spot unfolds with a comforting, unhurried rhythm—welcoming both locals and travelers alike to linger over their meals and soak in the easygoing atmosphere.
Walking in, you immediately sense the space’s friendly pulse: lively yet relaxed, with the soft murmur of conversations blending with the faint aroma of wood-fired dough and fresh ingredients. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in comfortably, whether grabbing a quick takeaway or savoring a leisurely dinner shared with friends and family.
The menu here feels like an invitation to discovery. Each pizza is crafted with a thoughtful balance—playful nods to local flavors and classic Italian staples, all pulled together with fresh, quality ingredients. Whether you’re drawn to a slice that carries the rich creaminess of stracciatella and pistachios or the vibrant earthiness of a carbonara-style pizza, there’s a satisfying depth to the flavors that reveals a genuine care for the craft. And for those moments when you want to stir the senses beyond pizza, the accompanying drinks and small plates like a simple Caprese or a well-poured Aperol Spritz add their own relaxed elegance to the experience.
The scene at Retrò is quietly animated, filled with the easy camaraderie of locals who return for both the food and the familiar warmth of the place. Service moves with a friendly efficiency that never feels rushed, creating a welcoming pocket of time to enjoy your meal. With its honest approach and rootedness in the community, Retrò Pizzeria doesn’t just serve dinner—it unfolds an approachable story of taste, tradition, and local life that resonates quietly long after you’ve left the table.

Best pizza place in Olbia. We have tested giro di pizza too, I must say the chef is really creative.

Great pizza, we had pizza carbonara, like the spaghetti, amazing, just spread the egg around and you have some delicious food on your plate. Great service, great coffee, nice wine! And you do not have to wait until 19:00 for the food

Food was tasty and the staff was really friendly. For those “smartypants” who complain about unasked “tips”: “coperto” on a restaurant bill refers to a cover charge or table charge, which is a per-person fee covering the cost of things like bread, silverware, plates, glasses, and tablecloths. It's a standard practice (almost everywhere) in many Italian restaurants and is not a tip. The coperto is usually a small amount, typically between €1 to €3 per person, and is listed on the menu. Educated first yourself and after post useless comments or complaints which have no relevance after all.
